At the fresh produce stall, organic vegetables like eggplant, red-skinned potatoes, and chives were exceptionally fresh, drawing many citizens to buy as soon as they were displayed. ‘These cherry tomatoes are flavorful and juicy, with great texture,’ staff enthusiastically promoted the greenhouse soilless-cultivated tomatoes\u2014free of pesticides, diseases, and heavy metal residues.<\/span><\/span>When eaten, they have a rich fruit aroma. Many citizens decided to order immediately after tasting.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Our original price is 48 yuan per box, but on site it’s only 40 yuan per box,’ the stall owner explained while inviting customers to taste. Seasonal agricultural products from Chongming Island, such as saffron, white goat meat, Chongming cake, fresh strawberries, and dragon fruit, not only made citizens happy to buy but also offered great value. ‘It’s a great deal, good quality and low price. In the barrier-free bathroom, there are bath chairs with rounded adjustable armrests, anti-slip textured elderly-friendly flooring, and emergency call buttons that connect to backend services with one press… Every detail meets the daily needs of the elderly. ‘Such an elderly-friendly renovation is both beautiful and considerate, making us seniors live more at ease,’ said citizen Lu Adi after the experience.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
