Changxing Urban Investment · Ginkgo Garden Healthy Living Community, located in Changxing County, Huzhou, Zhejiang, with a total building area of 59,125 square meters, is Changxing County’s first CCRC (Continuing Care Retirement Community) fully integrated with traditional Chinese medicine services. In the soft furnishing design, Muheng distilled eight dimensions from traditional Chinese health wisdom: ‘Happy Nourishment, Cultural Nourishment, Physical Nourishment, Dietary Nourishment, Therapeutic Nourishment, Medicinal Nourishment, Tea Nourishment, and Floral Nourishment,’ and organically implemented them as spatial themes in various functional areas, creating an Eastern health culture community. The soft furnishing not only conveys culture but also becomes an emotional link in the daily life of the elderly.

Huanhu Yijia · Huanhu New Neighborhood Project

Huanhu New Neighborhood is located in Waizhuang Unit, South Taihu New District, with a total building area of about 30,000 square meters. Based on the blueprint of ‘one center, two axes, five zones, five gardens,’ it creates a modern new neighborhood commercial project, providing high-quality neighborhood services for the surrounding communities. In this project, Muheng integrated the four cultural veins of Huzhou—’water, tea, bamboo, ink’—into the soft furnishing design, proposing the theme ‘Four Nourishments of Huzhou · Landscape Carefree Residence.’ Using earth tones as the base with bright colors as accents, and through aging-friendly furniture and furnishings, it creates a space of peace and clarity. ‘Tiaoxi Water Whisper’ creates flowing vitality, while ‘Tea Mountain Leisure Living’ conveys a sense of belonging and warmth, overall balancing cultural therapy and the needs of the elderly.

CITIC · Xinlan Tiandi Area C · Lanxi Cluster

Xinlan Tiandi Area C · Lanxi Cluster is a monthly-paid long-stay quality living area newly launched by CITIC Senior Care. With the breakthrough advantage of being ‘adjacent to the subway,’ it redefines the model of high-quality elderly living in Shanghai. Muheng designed the soft furnishing of the public spaces as a ‘spiritual back garden’ for the elderly to retreat from the city. With the concept of ‘Quietly observing Lanxi, heart resting on Flower Island,’ and centering on six themes—Care, Vitality, Memory, Wisdom, Healing, and Freedom—it uses the spiritual imagery of six flowers: Baby’s Breath, Hyacinth, Forget-me-not, Violet, Poppy, and Delphinium. It merges the originally scattered spaces into a coherent and warm ’emotional gathering place.’

Qiaokou Urban Construction · Wuhan Baishan Elderly Care Center

Wuhan Baishan Elderly Care Center is jointly built by Qiaokou Urban Construction and Fosun Senior Care, with a total building area of about 20,000 square meters. It covers various types of care including independent living, assisted living, and full care, and is equipped with multifunctional spaces such as a TCM clinic, rehabilitation area, and social club. In the soft furnishing design, Muheng starts from the aesthetics of ‘painted scenery,’ integrating the water veins of the river city and urban memories into five realms—Nature, Emotion, Forest, Comfort, and Elegance. With imagery of lush vegetation, warm everyday life, and mountain seclusion, it creates a warm artistic elderly care space. The aging-friendly furniture is designed to match throughout, ensuring safety, comfort, and aesthetic elegance, allowing the elderly to rediscover leisure in the embrace of nature.

Wentou · MCS Jiushiqiao Care Center

Wentou · MCS Jiushiqiao Care Center, as an embedded community elderly care complex in Daoyaojin Street, Luyang District, Hefei City, was jointly established by Japan MCS and Anhui Wentou. It introduces international advanced elderly care service concepts and technologies to meet the public’s needs for home-based care, community care, disability care, and professional dementia prevention and care. In the soft furnishing design, Muheng brings the tranquility and vitality of the outdoors indoors. Through the harmonious blend of colors, materials, and light, combined with the dynamic changes of skylight and window views, it creates a space atmosphere that is both airy and warm, healing.

Tongxiang Heji · Wuzhen Intelligent Elderly Care Center

Tongxiang Heji · Wuzhen Intelligent Elderly Care Center is a one-stop healthy living complex centered on ‘intelligence.’ With an area of over 36,000 square meters, it integrates elderly care, medical services, nursing, rehabilitation, and recreation. In the overall soft furnishing design, Muheng draws inspiration from nature, using light wood tones intertwined with soft warm lighting, complemented by greenery and floral arrangements. This creates a warm and soothing living atmosphere while revealing an elegant style, fitting the elderly’s longing for a warm and simple life. For dementia care, we designed emotional corners such as a music corner, nostalgia corner, and puzzle interaction area, naturally integrating non-pharmacological interventions into the daily environment.
